Registration Gateway

We are excited to announce that the district has implemented an online student registration system.  This online registration system will be used to register New Students as well as Returning Students.

Each school year, all returning student's to Chester County must re-register to attend their school.  This is done to ensure all contact information and other pertinent information is up to date.  This also reduces wait time and long lines during schedule pick up and teacher assignment time.

Beginning Monday, July, 10th parents are asked to log into our Registration Gateway System to verify/update their student(s) information for the 2017-2018 school year.  You will be able to update contacts, phone numbers, medical conditions, and review, download, and acknowledge the receipt of the District’s Student Leadership Handbook and Network Acceptable Use Policy.

You should have received your student(s) login information on your child’s report card.  To begin the process, you will be required to enter your child’s student number and a password.   The student number may be obtained from reports cards or your student’s school. The password will be your student’s date of birth in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy (example: 05/26/2006). If you have not received this information please contact your child’s school for assistance.  We hope that this will make the registration process easier for you.

All students NEW to the district please follow the instructions as you access the link for New Student Registration.

Message from Dr. Angela Bain

Ending 2016-2017 School Year

Well, here it is! The last week of the 2016-2017 school year! Where did the time go?  Some of you are preparing for your students to graduate, and some of you are preparing for your children to enter school for the first time next year.

It is exciting for us as educators to see our students graduate with high school diplomas and to see the little ones coming through our doors for the first time!

As parents, it may be a little bittersweet to see your child graduate and move on to the next adventure in their lives. We know the feeling! As we watch our students cross the stage at graduation, it almost brings tears to our eyes to know that we have had a part in their educational and personal successes over the years.  Thank you for allowing us the time with your children!

Congratulations graduates of Chester County School District!

As we look forward to the summer and the next school year, if you have school-age children, we encourage you to do some things this summer with your children that will “stretch” their learning and encourage their thinking!  Try some of the items listed below with your elementary students…and maybe your older students as well!

Remember that when our students read and participate in educational activities during the summer, they maintain their critical thinking processes so that they are better prepared for the rigors of the next school year.

Here are a few websites you might want to visit to encourage your child’s learning throughout the summer.

The South Carolina State Library Summer Reading Kickoff http://www.scffs.org/news/statewide-summer-reading-kick-be-held-june-3-2017

The SC Family-Friendly Standards are updated and available for Grades K-12 for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The guides provide information about what students should be learning at each grade level, along with books and resources to enhance the learning at school. The guides are also available in Spanish. http://www.scfriendlystandards.org/index.htm

Help with Math SC is an online resource to help families and others find assistance and materials based on the SC College and Career-Ready Standards in Mathematics. The materials, developed by math educators from SC, are available for K-7th grade. https://helpwithmathsc.org/

The University of South Carolina’s Head Basketball Coach, Frank Martin, has a math club!  Please visit Coach Martin’s Math Club site here: https://helpwithmathsc.org/contact/

Have a safe, restful and educational summer to all!
